Over the past twenty-two years, my interest in, and passion for
learning how the body works has fascinated me, not only personally,
but also professionally.
I became a Massage Therapist in 1986, in order to help others
feel better, and realized from the start that there were very few
products to help take care of the skin on the market. Over the
years I became even more interested and intrigued with other body
treatments and skin care.
As a licensed massage therapist I saw a lot of painful and
heart-breaking skin diseases and disorders, so I expanded my search
for answers in the library, and attended many different training
classes and seminars to learn more about skin care. I wanted to
share the results of my inquiry with my clients in order to help
them.
Most of the products were in lotion form, and I did not like the
feeling it left on the skin. After investigating different brands,
with unsatisfactory results, I decided to start blending my own
oils to give my clients better results and more satisfaction.
My blended oils were received positively by my clients, with
reports that the oils worked and felt much better on their skin
than lotion.
After a short period of time I realized oils would be the main
stay of my skin care because they offered more positive results. My
clients would leave their treatments much happier and satisfied
because their skin was healthier.
My interest in skincare became my full time focus in 2001. I was
constantly looking at peoples' skin and wondered what type of
products they were using. I wanted to give them the information and
treatment they needed for healthier, more beautiful skin.
My research became a passion for my clients as well as myself. I
wanted to only use products that were organic and natural to the
body. I wanted to remove artificial fragrance and synthetic colors
out of my products.
I had worked with other Skin Care lines during my career, such
as Skinceuticals, Skin Medica, Dermalogica, Glymed, Dr. Murad, and
Eminence. I felt it was time to go back to basics and create my own
line. So, I created and co-founded L'Essentiel Organic Oils
Skincare.
My interest in the skin care industry became my new passion, so
I went back to school to become a Licensed Master Aesthetician; and
later, an Instructor for the Paul Mitchell Skin Academy.
Working with other professionals who are interested in taking
care of the human body is truly rewarding and uplifting.
My mission is, "Educate to Motivate" and personalize
the treatments that our clients seek when they come to our clinic
at Optimal Aesthetics.
Our goal is to educate our clients about the skin care products
that will work for them on an individual basis, and to treat their
skin as it needs to be treated. Due to time constraints in other
offices this area is sometimes neglected.
My consultations are affordable and time sensitive. To make an
appointment to discuss your personal needs please call:
